We are a Quaker community reaching out to other Quaker communities. Friends Academy of Westampton in New Jersey was started over 30 years ago to provide such a Quaker based education. A Friend’s School education is a valuable thing, not only because of the great academics it provides but also because of the testimonies that children are taught. Because Friends Academy has always kept tuition low to provide this valuable education to a broader public than might normally be able to afford it, the school is in danger of closing due to lack of funds. The parents of FAW are currently engaged in a campaign to save the school and to raise enough funds to open the doors next year and into the future. We need the help of all Quaker Communities to save this vital part of our community. What we need is to reach over 100,000 people and have them make a small donation between $5 and $20. So what do we need from you? We are asking for a small donation and we ask that you to tell as many people as you can, and hopefully, through those contacts we can obtain another 10 people to donate and have them spread the word. You can do this by word of mouth, by phone, over social media, however, you can. The more people we contact the closer we get to our goals. Our campaign needs to reach $250,000 immediately to cover through the end of this school year and $1 million by the end of this campaign on April 23rd. We can do it with your help. Visit our website: SaveOurSchoolFAW.com and engage our Go Fund Me campaign. Individually we may be meager, but together we are mighty.
